Imitation timber (false timber) is a facing material in the form of wooden panels similar to clapboard, but wider and thicker. For fastening of the next boards in the course of installation the system of a groove-a thorn is used. The thickness of the panels is usually from 1.6 to 3.6 cm with a width of 10-20 cm and a length of 200 to 600 cm in increments of half a meter. But there may be other dimensions.
